Senior Research Executive - Market Research Patient and Caregiver Experience in Rare Diseases
The role
Working with senior members of the team you will support delivery of a portfolio of projects whilst maintaining familiarity with current industry practices and regulatory requirements (e.g. GCP, BHBIA Code of Practice, GDPR). You will independently manage elements of large projects, with the expectation that you will take sole responsibility for smaller projects as your experience develops.
Responsibilities will include:
Contributing to research proposals
Developing research materials including consents, screeners, discussion guides and surveys
Leading fieldwork execution
Moderating interviews with patients and caregivers
Conducting structured qualitative analysis and basic quantitative analysis
Contributing to insight generation and reporting
Supporting presentations to clients
Managing day to day client interactions
Contributing to publications e.g. abstracts, posters and manuscripts
General areas of responsibility
Maintain up to date scientific knowledge of relevant therapy areas, legislation, industry guidelines and best practices
Support the reputation of Rare Disease Research Partners through development of rare disease expertise, quality of outputs and maintenance of excellent relationships with clients and research participants
Contribute to team administrative tasks
Participate in team meetings and attend training events relevant to specific responsibilities
Assist with any reasonable duty at the request of the line manager for the post
Maintain Good Clinical Practice, BHBIA, ABPI, GDPR and other relevant training
You
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in a scientific discipline
At least 2 years of experience in healthcare market research
Ability to organise own work effectively to meet deadlines
Proven capability in data analysis and reporting
Excellent attention to detail
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Strong initiative and ability to identify issues and create solutions
